It was called The Campfire.
Since it was lit,
it has been a place of rest for travelers before they continue their path.
A place where they can share their stories.

The Last Winter is a piece of interactive fiction created for Low Code Game Jam (GNOJ#7) in a collaborative effort of multiple narrative designers / writers.

The aim of the project was to invite writers to tell a story together with each one responsible for writing a single short story as told by a character of the overarching story. Each of these character stories acts as an inner story within the frame story about the mysterious Campfire, around which all the characters have gathered. Together the stories build a bigger picture the of narrative. As the background of the other characters is revealed, you will also learn something of your own story.
